As usual, Darren and the rest of the installation team have been traveling to various states erecting Solar Innovations products, bringing peace and happiness to our customers. Since the last newsletter issue, over fifty jobs have been worked on.

Currently, Darren, Andy, Matt, and Jim are working on the Hagerstown Greenhouse project; the greenhouse is a welcome addition to a nursing facility for the disabled. Utilizing Solar’s new I-Beam system, the project is a bit of a challenge to install as it is a fresh experience the guys. Even though they have never installed this type of system before, the team is doing very well with constructing the traditional-styled greenhouse.

Boasting over fifty units, the Kline Residences is the focus for John, Steve, Paul, and Chris. Every week, this team drives eight hours to the tip of Cape Cod to install hurricane rated window systems and sliders on a private home. Not only are our installers working with a large amount of units, the overall installation has been tricky due to the high winds in the area on a daily basis.

In addition to these two highlighted projects, Chris and Darren worked on a smaller greenhouse called Hibbitt House. Of course, new building installation has been taking up any free time that the install team may have as we work to get into our new home. Good work guys!

Solar Innovations, Inc. Completes WJE Project

Solar Innovations recently completed the WJE project, a double door, mid-wall, folding glass wall system. This ten panel system is constructed with Dark Bronze Anodized aluminum framing and measures forty-seven feet wide and eight feet high.

Solar Innovations, Inc. Completes Wilson College Greenhouse

Another beautiful addition to Solar Innovations’ institutional greenhouse line, Wilson College greenhouse is the newest addition to the science center at the college in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. A straight eave, double pitch greenhouse with one gable end, partial sidewall cutouts, and interior partition walls, this stately project was fully installed by our very own installation team.  The structure is constructed with Solar’s seven inch aluminum system in Dark Bronze Anodized and 272 insulated glass units.

Four 4-bay operable ridge vents and four 4-bay operable eave vents help to provide passive ventilation to the greenhouse and aid in overall air circulation. Wilson College is equipped with full greenhouse accessories of heaters, evaporative coolers, circulation fans, drip and misting systems, mesh top benches, humidifiers, plant hanger rods, grow lights, and a fully-functioning environmental control system. Not only is this greenhouse functional, but it is also decorated with seven true divided radius arches, decorative gutters, and crown molding.
