Solar Innovations, Inc. recently began testing our own solar racking system and mounting solution during the install of 250 kilowatts of solar power. This system is the first of multiple phases that will end up with total system wattage of 1 megawatt over the next few years.
This first system consists of 1106 Schuco 225W solar panels, 1 SMA Sunny Central 250kw inverter, and Solar Innovations, Inc’s own racking. The racking design was engineered and stamped to meet the majority of all load requirements while maintaining and easy to install product line.
The racking system was designed to allow field adjustment of the angle if needed with a hinged front design. The racking also uses the same symmetrical rail when being installed on flat roof or ground mount to create the structure and hold the frame. Our racking can also be coated to match various buildings or structures. To the installer this means carrying fewer parts, and the symmetrical design means less error in field. To the customer, this means a uniform look that can match an existing or new structure.
A large concern while designing this system was to reduce the amount of penetrations that are necessary on the different roof types. For example, Solar Innovations, Inc’s roof is a standing seam roof and all current products on the market for standing seam clamps have high pressure points and are likely to damage your roof. With this in mind Solar Innovations set forth to design a product that will integrate seamlessly into many applications and designed a patent pending clamp for any flanged material and that can be engineered to meet your load specs.
Solar Innovations is a state approved contractor under the PA Sunshine Program to install photovoltaic panels and maintains a staff that consists of full time dedicated sales/estimating, engineering, drafting, and install staff. Our experience in the construction, fabrication, and permitting process will guarantee a successful project from start to finish whether it’s a completely custom install or a standard install.

That's great! This is, indeed, a better alternative in electricity consumption. And because solar roof panels generate electricity without releasing emissions, this eco-friendly alternative can definitely help the Earth recover from pollution.

The racking system allows the solar panel to adjust to the movement of the sun to better accumulate sunlight. Solar panel roofs should be design that way so they would be more effective.

What makes this solar installation so effective is its capability to follow the sun's trajectory throughout the day. Because it isn't fixed, it can follow the sun as it moves up and down the sky, allowing for maximum efficiency. It would be best to install that in a place that is most exposed to sunlight.
