Solar Innovations, Inc.'s dual wheel folding glass wall is the latest innovation for the folding glass wall system. Originally the folding wall system featured a single trolley for each panel; now, two sets of wheels are utilized to ensure smooth operation with less effort. The dual wheels are especially beneficial as systems contain oversized panels. Both top and bottom load doors are enhanced by the dual wheels. As the systems improve, new configurations which may have been too difficult to operate with a single trolley may become available. The dual wheel system uses the same sill height as the standard folding glass; the width of the sill has simply increased to 2 7/8" to accommodate the new trolleys.
Many of our existing folding glass wall projects can be retrofitted for the dual wheel system. Solar Innovations, Inc. has already retrofitted the folding doors display on the second floor of our facility. With the Dual wheels in place, the doors are easier to maneuver, even for our most petite employees. Perpetuating our reputation of innovation, the dual wheel folding glass wall system allows for larger door segments, more complex configurations, and greater ease of operation.
