Solar Innovations, Inc. recently completed a stadium project. This project is located at the Siegel Center at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. The renovation of the stadium began in the summer of 2011 and included the addition of a Solar Innovation Inc. clear wall system. The clear wall is located inside a luxury box that is overlooking the stadium. This system is unique because it features no vertical framing. The unit has a modern appearance with glass panels and custom white finish framing on the top and bottom of each glass section. The unit is an interior system and will not be exposed to the elements; therefore, single pane glass was used. With the help of a guide pin, all five panels slide to the left on the track and stack against a wall. When the doors are stacked, visitors can easily enter and exit the sweet. The overall length of the entire unit is 12'-5" and the height of the panels are 7'-1". The system can be locked and unlocked from one side with a thumb turn.
